Music video progress

 Im currently working through editing my music video, syncing up the song with the lyrics making it sound natural. Im suing CapCut to put all my videos together.

Second music video

 I realised that my previous video shoot didn’t give me enough footage for my 3 minute video and i underestimated the amount of videos I would need. I did a second shoot at my house in the garden.

 When filming for my video, initially i used 3 locations: the beach hut, Thorpe bay green and a car.

 I decided to film my music video in my hometown and i could get a lot of content and the views and background of the beach meet my aesthetic. I also think the fact that it’s filmed in a hometown gives the video a more homely feel, which is what i hoped I achieved. Below are some examples of photos i took for the website. I liked the lighting and simplistic background of these photos

 

Upon reflection, i have decided that this song and narrative fulfil the brief. I feel that having a friendship group within the video as well as using recognisable locations for my 16-25 year old demographic is more suitable. I felt that Jack and Matilde are the right talent to use and i would still like to include a ‘love’ narrative as that it was my audience focus group like to see in music videos.

After reviewing my initial ideas and comparing it with the brief, i found that this song might not be the best song for my Music video. I believe my talent fits the brief but the song doesn’t.
